Regional Science Congress 2025 Begins at IIT Patna
Patna, October 8, 2025 – The Regional Science Congress 2025 commenced with great enthusiasm at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna. This four-day event, running from October 8 to 12, aims to inspire young minds to delve into emerging technologies that promote sustainable development.

Encouragement for Young Innovators
During his address, Prof Thakur encouraged the young participants to think beyond traditional fields such as science and engineering. India’s self-reliance in semiconductor technology is a testament to what innovation can achieve.”

Following the lecture, participants had the opportunity to visit IIT Patna’s Physics and Chemistry laboratories as well as the Incubation Centre, where they engaged in hands-on experiments and interactive demonstrations.
